There was a time when a lot of area teenagers had their first job at Boblo Island. I remember a time when they came into the classroom at General Amherst looking for people. Usually you’d work at concessions or clean up. I was there until I got married and usually worked at The Bug or The Dodgems even the train from time to time. It was a hot job but fun. There was a lot of perks but it was a hot job. People were a lot better behaved then than they are now so you might get someone to snap but not like you see today. I really enjoyed my time there and still have some of the friends from those days.
